Annual Programs
Every year Sister to Sister organizes programs to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our mentees. We hold a Family Feast in the Fall, where we gather with the families of our mentees and community members and share a meal. We also participate in a Kwanzaa celebration.
In the late Spring we host Empowerment, a program to recognize our graduating seniors which features an accomplished female speaker to provide guidance to our mentees as they prepare for their next step in life, college.
Our annual Move-A-Thon brings community members together for a day of fitness and fun.
Sister to Sister mentees also participate in a number of community service events in the Montclair area.
